Y ou will work as part of an engineering team of 3 at a 500,000+ square foot campus in Burlington, MA 01803 This position requires the Operating Engineer to be on-site.

Schedule: M-F, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with a rotating on-call schedule for after-hour emergencies
Reporting to: Chief Engineer
Type of Employment: Full-Time w/JLL employee benefits within 1 month of employment

Estimated compensation: $28.17 to $37.69 an hour paid bi-weekly
The compensation range listed is an estimate and not guaranteed. A salary offer will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data
What your day-to-day will look like:
Complete assigned tasks that include but are not limited to: painting, pressure washing, cleaning, maintaining lighting system bulbs/ballasts (as allowed by any licensing requirements), plumbing, HVAC systems, water treatment, hanging pictures, repair office furniture, locksmith work and general maintenance
Maintain work order system (CMMS) daily and complete any tenant service requests
Moves office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested
Perform assigned preventive maintenance and inspection tasks
Support on-call or emergency response situations (if applicable)
Troubleshoot all building systems, including electrical, DDC and pneumatic controls
Comply with all safety procedures
Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs
Desired Skills and Experience:
High School diploma or GED equivalent
3+ years of related work experience, especially in repair and maintenance of commercial buildings/equipment
Need a strong expertise with MEP especially HVAC or Electrical, any HVAC or Electrical certifications and licenses are desirable
Trade school education, union training, military service or college is desirable
Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and comfortable using up to 30 foot ladders
Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift and/or drive
Strong customer service skills
Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) &/or Building Management System (BMS)
