Brand new opportunity! We are hiring a Highway Engineer to manage highway and roadway projects! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with specific experience with highway, transit, rail, site, and design-build project delivery for highways, local roads, public utilities and public works, civil site design, or related infrastructure. Highway Engineer Responsibilities: Design and oversee the construction of highway systems, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

Manage a project team, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Conduct site inspections and project meetings to ensure adherence to safety standards and project specifications. Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and contractors to integrate various project elements effectively.

Prepare and present detailed project reports and designs to stakeholders and clients. Develop project budgets, schedules, and plans, adjusting as needed based on project evolution and stakeholder feedback. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and government bodies.

Utilize advanced project management tools to track project performance and milestones. Highway Engineer Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain. Minimum of 5 years of experience in highway engineering, with at least 3 years in a project management role. Proficiency in civil engineering software such as Bentley, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or similar.
