Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Mission Assurance Engineer. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel program.
This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
What You'll Get To Do:?
Lead teams with Corrective/Preventive action development, coordination, and successful implementation including verification of effectiveness.
Present to and coordinate with Customer counterparts (ie DCMA) and Program leadership.
Engage with QMS and AS9100 requirements, Corrective/Preventive Action Request Methodologies, Customer Engagement, QMS Internal & External Audit Programs.
Lead RCCA activities including root cause analysis (ie 5 Why, 8D, Ishikawa (Fishbone), FMEA, etc.).
Maintain database of corrective actions, ensuring organized, efficient, and results oriented objectives.
Assist in the preparation and execution of program and division level Preventive and Corrective Action Board (PCAB), as well as root cause investigations.
Develop and analyze metrics.
Provide guidance to others and interface with varying levels of management and customers.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.?
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
2 Years with Bachelors in Science; or 0 Years with Masters
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
Experience with Root Cause Analysis methodologies (ie Ishikawa, 5-why, etc.)
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
AS9100 Auditor Training
Certifications in CMMI or Six Sigma Black Belt methodologies
Experience in quality management systems to support program processes, audits, and improvement.
Degree in Engineering discipline
Active Secret clearance
